​In 1990, a popular talk show featured several men and women who had been assaulted on the streets. Their stories were all too familiar. All explained that even though they had prepared to defend themselves, they were powerless to prevent the assault.  While listening to their stories, I noticed that not one had mentioned that they carried or were trained to use a personal protection device (PPD). Thus 2M Solutions  was formed. We started out with a 5% pepper spray. Over the years as technology improved we expanded our product offerings to include a diverse supply of personal protective devices.
